CES 2014: Why is it still a “festival of corporate spying and privacy invasion”?

At CES Samsung is sad. After owning the phone market it’s numbers have dropped with the device spying revelations. Nobody at CES says it aloud but we all know.

Huwaei is sad. Everybody believes their products have Chinese back doors for industrial spying.

Lots of people are SAD at CES.

But mostly, people deaf at CES. Corporate people, that is. The makers of products.

The CES press release are aglow with waves of “smart cars” that will watch your every move and relay every turn, location, phrase and thought via their “in dash operating systems.”

Wearable wristbands are everywhere.  They will watch your every move and relay every turn, location, phrase and thought via their “wrist sports operating systems.”

Devices with wireless modems are everywhere.  They will watch your every move and relay every turn, location, phrase and thought via their “the internet of things systems.”

What the corporations don’t get, what they missed on the news, is that NOBODY wants anymore crap, social media or stuff that spies on you.

Why didn’t they get the memo?
